The short version
You rent software from us to run your shop. Your products, your customers and your orders are yours. We keep the service running and you pay for it. Either side can end the arrangement.
Your account
You are responsible for what happens under your sign-in, so give staff their own rather than sharing yours. Tell us straight away if you think an account has been compromised.
What you sell
You are the merchant. You are responsible for your products being legal to sell where you sell them, for describing them accurately, and for meeting the obligations you take on with your customers.
Payment and plans
Plans are billed in advance, monthly or yearly. Changing plan takes effect immediately. If you move down a plan, anything above the new limits becomes read-only rather than being deleted.
Availability
We aim to keep the service up and will tell you about planned work in advance. We do not promise it will never be unavailable.
Ending it
You can close your store at any time. We will give you a window to export your data before it is removed. We may suspend a store that is being used for something illegal or that is damaging the service for others.
This build
SmoothSail is under active development. Billing is not connected and no payment gateway can move real money in this build.
